From the existing desktop solution, user stories where needed to be synthesized with the mobile platform to create a working prototype. User information and data was needed to be access-able and readable upon request. Membership product and service selection of the UI and related information display was needed to be built appropriately. New mobile research data was needed to craft a successful mobile user experience.

A users first experience with an app sets the stage for success or failure. No splash screens after Sign in. On boarding was a separate section of the app.  The goal was to make it easy for the user, pull membership data from the cloud, and save relevant data for quick retrieval only when necessary. Get the user to their goal as quickly as possible.

Efficient means of organizing, finding, and displaying user desired content was the focus. The current desktop version footer has been included in the mobile design for a consistent transition and easy of use. Second mobile version will eliminate footer and utilize the hamburger menu pop out for navigation.

Pop out navigation

Direct navigation to main categories or functional areas, from anywhere within the app, addresses users need for quickly meeting users needs. Listed main and sub-categories, as well as searchability with descriptions, helps guide the user to their goal.

Relevant help

Successful support is answering user questions at varying levels of detail based on need. Starting with a summary answer first, followed by relevant 2 to 3 summary definitions, and finally an in-depth explanation with cited examples only when needed.
